Former Premier of Western Australia Carmen Lawrence speaks about the intrinsic value of Western Australia’s heritage, and the deep connection it draws from those who are atune to it. Sadly, mining and development have always trumped other land uses, and the price paid is irreversible loss of cultural and natural places.
